This is the motto that is swiftly becoming folklore around St John’s following Year 7’s amazing day out at the Sky Studios in London.
“We thought it’d be good,” said Adam Taylor, “But this is incredible!”
16 pupils, Mr Downie and Miss Duncan arrived at the Sky Studios nice and early on Tuesday, April 29th – early enough to have a relaxing lunch in the canteen and soak up the atmosphere of a buzzing TV operation.
Once inside, there is just so much to write about that you’ll have to make your own sentences from the following list of words:
Studio 1, Ashley Banjo, mixing, dubbing, stones made out of foam, Serge, Sky Sports News On Air, Studio 2, Bettley’s acting, The Simpsons, studio tour, that camera cost £375k, Paige’s hat, does your USB work?!, rehearse, practise, life skills, opaque, 10,000 lights, he’s off the telly isn’t he?, Rosie’s lunges, Jack’s tie, Studio 3, flask of tea, teamwork, communication, going live NOW! , I love you mum, bye!, fake windows, Nelson Mandela, audio track, synching………
