This week we were delighted to welcome Mr Henry Price, Headmaster of Wellington School, as our guest speaker for the last of this inaugural year of Academic Enrichment lectures.

Mr Price delivered a fascinating talk on the Iliad that focused on the relationship between Hector and Andromache, the dynamics of the role of men and women and the nature of the classical hero. There is no doubt that those children in the audience were left with a thirst to read the poem, if they had not already. It was a fascinating introduction to basic Greek and a superb way to end this varied and enthralling series of lectures.
