Pre-Prep were treated to a visit by Claude Monet on Tuesday 14th November. Visiting artist Paul Priestley spoke to the children about the life and works of the great Monet. He then gave them a wonderful lesson on scale, perspective and shading. The children first did pencil drawings and then completed their own version of Monet’s Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies. Both staff and children were amazed at the works of art they produced. We have some fabulous photos of the children’s work.
