The School Council held a rousing ‘Be Heard’ event on Monday 9th March with 62 pupil ideas for improving the school brought to the attention of their peers and teachers.

Ideas such as longer break times, pizza for lunch, more art and crafts, and a whole day’s reading were mooted. The pupils enthusiastically presented their viewpoints and it was a wonderful opportunity to see the school through their eyes.

The children voted on what they wanted most with a fair voting system, monitored by Chairperson Jack Mott and Vice Chairperson Morgan Lewis. The most popular ideas will now be discussed at the next School Council meeting. We will keep you posted on actions following this meeting.
